NJ Sunset from NYC Highline

High above the city streets in NYC the Highline platform becomes an “Outdoor LivingRoom” for the local neighborhood. I was somewhat surprised and amazed by how popular and successful the new elevated park has become. As soon as the weather breaks the outdoor space becomes crowded with families, lovers, and strangers. This is one of the thousands of photos I took on this warm Spring day earlier this year. Hope you enjoy the view!Eight: Sunset

Sunset
Sparks fly,
The glow of the sunset penetrated the unfinished dome,
An amulet for luck on her breast made of chrome,
Quick breaths heave from her chest when she sees him near,
The woman he loves has come to see him here,
This time it will be different because it is known,
Her love is true, he has come to know that it has grown,
They made something together piece by piece,
The foundation stone has been set,
He knew it was meant to be since the first day they met,
Her neck so soft, her hair wrapped high,
Her lips all a quiver, eyes like waves reflected in the clear blue sky,
Made him thirst for another embrace,
His heart pumped up and started to race,
She waited for the glow to come to a still,
That moment when the dusk sets in and the nighttime begins.

Portuguese Ocean Sunset Wall

This photograph was taken in Torreira, Portugal last summer. The layers of the painted, paster wall reminds me of the dramatic sunsets along the Atlantic coast.

Cinematic: Torreira Portugal Sunset

I donated 100%+ of the proceeds my photographic art to “Architecture For Humanity” the “Red Cross” and “UNICEF.” It was one of the most challenging things I have ever done in my life. I wanted to set an example for my 3 sons that there is more to living than just making money. This photographic image was the best seller so I am sharing it here with you. If you are interested in donating you can still do so by visiting my online store gallery and following us online on Twitter and Facebook.
